There I was, my father holding me up as I try to skate, back then I was not very good at all skating, in fact I was terrible, I could barely go without my father holding me up. That was when I was 4. So you couldn’t really expect me to be good anyways but I was trying hard to succeed. I was born to play hockey, I loved the sport when I was young and I still do as a thirteen year old.
As the years went on I grew better and better at skating and the sport of hockey. I joined a league called Novice A, which was when I was about 6. My skills have improved since then. A number of skill improved, skating, stick handling, shooting and others. Now I am thirteen years old and still love the sport.
Last year I made the Peewee AA team as a first year peewee which is the best team on the Westside for peewee and I am very proud. This year, as a second year I made the team again.
When I get older I want to play college hockey and get a scholarship. I am not going to worry about the NHL this early because that is pretty far away but for now my goal is to play college hockey and get a scholarship and good education. That is where I want to go when I am older.
I think GMS will help me a lot to get where I want to go, for many reasons. Well first of all GMS has a hockey academy which will help me. It helps and teaches me many different skills such as shooting and most of all skating which is a very important skill in hockey. Another reason it will help is because not only does GMS have a hockey program and they help you in hockey but also they teach you to have a good character which is crucial for college hockey and your hockey career. So GMS will help me a lot to make it where I want to go.
