To the teachers and staff of G.M.S,

For starters, I think the hockey academy is working very well for me. Normally I would never be excited to go to school, no offense but I would never be excited but now that there is a hockey program, it gives me something to be excited about when I come to school. Not a lot of people get the chance to play hockey at school, but others and I at this school are very lucky to have it at G.M.S. The hockey program has also got me better at other classes, I think personally. That is because the hockey program develops you in to not only a better athlete but also a better person and better character which improves me in other classes to listen better, become responsible and show leadership.

Not only is the hockey program working but also, I like all the other sports and clubs that you can take part in. Volleyball and Basketball worked really well for me because I love sports and middle school gives you a chance to participate in a lot of sports that you like. That is another way that coming to school can be exciting, if you have practice or a game that day which just makes school that much exciting.
Also I can really work with anyone which is a good thing to the teachers knowing that they don’t have to worry about who they put me with. I work better with friends personally but if necessary I can work with basically anyone.

I love my classes, they are fun and interesting but the good thing is that you can pick your electives and there is a lot of choice , wood work , tech ed, info tech and a lot of other which gives you a lot of selection. In science, I love the labs we do and I think we should do more, in English and English writing we do a lot of fun stuff such as fun writing activities. My favorite class so far has been drama, I like acting quite a bit and not only the acting part but we get to play games also. Math may not be my best subject but I still try hard in it and most of the times get G’s. So Math is my worst subject and English is probably my best subject , so Math isn’t working so good but English is but overall all my classes are working pretty good.

I like how in middle school you have a lot more freedom than you would have in elementary such as breaks in between classes to give you a chance to see your friends’ way more. In elementary you would never have breaks or anything and that was not very fun. So that makes middle school much more fun so I think that the breaks are working good for me.
