My hair is better than yours!
“No way, my hair is better.” replied Billy.
“Well mine is brown, way better than blonde.” I yelled.
“No, blonde is way better than brown.” Billy said.
“No brown is better and anyways, my long is hair is better than your short hair.” I replied.
“Ya right, short hair is much cooler. “ Billy said.
“I don’t think so buddy, girls like long hair way more.” I yelled back.
“Are you kidding me, they like short way more.” Billy replied.
“I don’t think so, anyways your curly hair is stupid.” I yelled.
“No way is curly hair way cooler than your wavy hair.” Billy said.
“Well at least I don’t have lice in my hair.”I said with a grin on my face.
“No I don’t you liar!” Billy yelled.
“I don’t lie; you know you do just admit it!” I said.
“I will never admit it because it’s not true!” Billy said.
“Well thin hair is way better than your thick hair.” Billy said.
“You’re a funny boy, thick is way cooler these days.” I replied.
“This is never going to end.” Billy yelled in sadness.
“I agree” I said.
“We will finish another time.” I said.
We both walked away in sadness that nobody could really finish this battle about who’s hair is really but I don’t care because I will always know my hair is much better than Billy’s. As we were both walking away I turned around and shouted
“ My will always be better.”

Up at the Hill
I tilt up my head and stick out my tongue for the feel of the light snowflake landing on my cold tongue. The ordinary taste of snow as it drops into my mouth. The cold fresh air in my mouth as I start off slowly but begin to pick up speed as I starting descending the enormously steep hill. As I got about half way down the hill I could smell the stench of other riders zipping by me at full speed racing down to the bottom with their friends. As I start zooming down the hill I can smell the cold fresh air blow by me as I rip down the hill at a decent speed. I take a hard left turn into the forest area as I hear the sound of my board carving into the snow as I almost fall down taking a sharp turn. As I enter the forest area , the beautiful smell of the pine and the fresh trees and I zip by them dangerously almost crashing into multiple trees which would not lead to good things considering I was riding by myself.
I dangerously race out of the wonderful forest area and my favorite song is playing on the radio that plays all day at Big White. I race down the hill at top speed as the music pumps me up and just makes snowboarding that much more fun. As I am going very fast at a dangerous speed I all of a sudden come to a halt. I look down at my board I notice that my left binding came really loose. I reached down at my board and tighten my binding , the sound of my binding tightening , the plastic rubbing against each other as my foot gets pressed against by the binding but it has to be very tight to snowboard. As you carve side to side the sound of your jacket crumpling and the Velcro on your pants and jacket coming off and going back on. The most beautiful sound of all, the sound of other riders carving by your in the fresh compact snow and the board gently goes side to side in the snow. My favorite part of all snowboarding, riding thru the deep soft powder as the board gently rides thru the beautiful shiny snow, dangerously almost getting stuck in the powder which is never a good thing.
I’m almost reaching the bottom of the enormous hill which was my favorite run of all time at Big White. All I can do is admire the wonderful winter sight at Big White as the beautiful fragile snowflakes dropping from the sky gently landing on the ground. The other riders calmly riding down the hill at a slow speed, I felt like I was in a whole other world, the most beautiful world of all time. It was to amazing to be real; I swear it was a dream. The gigantic jumps ahead as butterflies travel to my stomach, I take a deep breath, I hit the jump and soar thru the air like an eagle, and a soft gentle landing with a sigh of relief. As I look back another rider doing an amazing trick like a trick I have never seen before, a back flip. This experience was like I was in heaven.
I was approaching a grind at Tellus Park, I get that feeling in my stomach, i'm scared to ride on the skiny but long rail. My heart is racing like Usain Bolt as i get closer and closer. I took a deep breathe and started breathing calmly but suddenly I caught an edge, i bailed hard right before the rail, there I was laying in the snow with the freezing snow getting in my gloves, pants and jacket.I got up and continued down the hill enjoying the beautiful scenery.
I reach the bottom of the hill. Breathing hardly after the most amazing moment of my life. I could have sworn it was a dream, the beautiful winter sight like I have never seen before in my 12 year old life. I check the time on my watch, my hand shaking I was so cold. It was 7:30 and I thought to myself , “My parents are not coming until 9:00 , just enough time to do it all again.

Skate Board
As I was sitting in the garage like always bored out of my mind my owner walked into the garage. He looked to his right where there was a hook with a helmet on. He grabbed the shiny black helmet and strapped it on; I was the most exciting skateboard in the world. I rolled myself right in front of him to make sure he could find me. He picked me up and brought me up the driveway, I was a bit scared because my street that I live on had a humongous steep hill and I had a feeling he was going to go down it. I dropped on the ground and he jumped on me right after. As he started rolling down the steep hill I could feel the hard sharp rocks that my smooth brand new wheels were running over. The rocks were flying up hitting me and it kind of hurt. We built up speed and started hustling hard down this hill but as we approached the bottom of the hill I saw a big rock sitting in the middle of the road but the bad thing was that I don’t think my owner saw it. At this time we were going very fast and even if he did it would be too late to stop so either way we were going to wipe out hard. We were getting really close to the rock and then I think my owner finally saw the rock.
He swerved out of the way trying to avoid the rock. He fell off me and flu the other way and I rolled onto someone’s front yard. As I hit the curb going onto the grass I felt a chip in me. I have never felt as much pain in my life. My owner came and picked me up and realized I had chip in me. He picked me up and brought me back to house all the way up the hill, I don’t think my owner had any injuries but I sure did. As we reached the drive way he put me down and tested me out driving me down the drive way. I cracked even more. So he grabbed me and thru me back in the garage in the corner where nobody will ever notice me. Ever since then he has never rid me again and as I sit here for the rest of my life untouched I will keep wondering if anyone will ever do anything with me again.

Overcoming Chanllenges
Say you really want to improve at a sport, let’s say hockey and you’re not very good at hockey but you want to improve. There are a lot of things that you can to improve your game. One thing that you could possibly do to improve is that try to go on the ice as many times as you can. Maybe rent ice or go to stick n puck or something but just try to skate as much as you can, every time you have a chance. Also you will have to try very hard at it, even if you can’t do something, don’t just quit, keep trying and trying until you get it. Use motivation to get started and desire to keep you going.
Another thing you could do is practice your shot or stick handling at your own house. Just go into your garage of your house and all you need is a hockey stick and a ball preferably a golf ball and just stick handle for a while. Go for as long as you can go for without losing control. Eventually you will get really good if you keep doing every day.
There are a lot of other things that you could do to improve at hockey but that’s all I’m going to say so try you’re hardest and never quit!

The Day of The Falling Fish!
We all started screaming and running to the nearest coverage. I quickly hustled to my dugout where there was coverage. Everyone was huddled under the dugout and the only thing you could hear was the noise of the humongous fish that were smashing against the top of the dugout. Eventually the fish started coming thru the dugout roof so we all ran to our cars and started driving away. Luckily no fish have hit me yet except for the one that hit me in the head when I was pitching which made the headache start kicking in right about now. As my parents and I started to drive away I kept hearing the fish smash against the roof of my car which made enormous dents in the car. As we were driving down the streets everyone was running and screaming for coverage. When we got home well all rushed into the house and went directly to the basement which was probably the safest spot to be in the house. As we stayed down there for about an hour we could still hear the fish hitting against the house.
After about an hour and a half the noise of the fish hitting against the house stopped. We all got up and went up the stairs of the basement leading to the 1st floor of our house. We went to the front door of our house, looked thru the window and saw no fish what so ever. I built up the courage to open the door after a couple of minutes, so I opened it and slowly creped to the lawn looking around for fish. There were only fish on the ground but no more falling. Everyone came out of their houses and celebrated this moment after what had happened. After about a couple of days that it took to clean up all the fish off the ground we continued our championship game awhile after the event had happened. So it was the bottom of the ninth, 2 outs, we were winning 5-4 and the count was full. I took one more final deep breath and winded up for the pitch. He swung and missed! We won the championship and the croud went wild. My team came piling on me on the mound, raised me up above their shoulders and started to chant my name. Ever since that day I have never forgot it and I never will.

Scaredy Student
13 year old Jacob Stevenson had a pretty difficult life considering he had many fears in life. Living this style of life, being scared of many things made it so Jacob did not have many friends at school because he was home schooled so he could not make friends that way or other places seeing he did not play any sports or any other activities made it difficult to make friends. He was born in a small town south of Detroit and is still living there in a small house; Jacob is home schooled by his parents due to his fears that he will not leave the house. Considering one of Jacob’s fears was that he won’t leave his own home his favorite hobby is to just play video games, basically he does nothing else at all, eat, sleep and play video games.
Jacob’s main fear in life was he was petrified of germs. He would not share anything with anyone, he would not leave his house and also nobody was aloud in his room, he has one sister, a mom and a dad and they have never gone into his room or else Jacob would freak out. After everything he did he would wash his face and his hands such as eat, touch anything that wasn’t his and touch anyone else. He wouldn’t even kiss or hug his mom or dad, wouldn’t shake hands or anything like that.
This fear had a lot of disadvantages and few advantages. Some advantages are that if he really likes video games and that is his passion he can do that all he wanted. Another advantage is that if he never leaves his house there is a way better chance that nothing bad or very dangerous will ever happen to him such as getting hit by a car; beat up by a gang or even getting attacked by a dangerous animal such as a bear, cougar or a coyote. Also if you will not leave your house that means you will need to be home schooled and that’s only 3 hours a day and normal school is 6 hours plus you can have your parents as your teachers which would be better than a normal teacher. Some disadvantages are that you will not make many friends considering you will not leave your house. Another is that you cannot experience all the fun and adventurous things there are to do in life and your life will eventually get very bored of your life after a while. You cannot go anywhere such as the store, friends, restaurant and especially you cannot go places for vacation if you wanted vacation or you had to move.
Jacob’s daily routine is this:8:00: Wake up
8:15: Brush teeth
8:30: Eat breakfast
8:45: Wash hands
8:50: Wash Face
9:00: Play Video Games
11:55: Wash Hands and face
12:00: Eat lunch
12:15 : Wash hands and face
12:30 : Play video games
7:00: Wash hands and face
7:15: Eat Dinner
7:30: Wash hands and face
8:00: Go to bed
That is Jacob’s routine everyday and it is the exact same every day which is pretty boring. Maybe the odd time it might change a bit by him sleeping in or not being hungry so he would not eat and even sometimes he would get too carried away playing his video games but other than that it would be the same every day. This lifestyle would negatively affect his life because he cannot do much other than sit at home and play video games. Jacob wouldn’t even go into his enormous backyard; it had trampoline, pool, hot tub and a swing set and still he wouldn’t go in his backyard. One day Jacob’s parents had a talk together about Jacob’s life and agreed to try to get Jacob to for once just go outside and try to overcome his fear. At the dinner table Jacob’s parents started a conversation about him going outside. Jacob’s mom said:
“Jacob, do you want to try and go outside to overcome your fear?
“No, Never!” yelled Jacob.
“Why not? Let’s just go look outside” mom said calmly.
“Ok, fine” said Jacob
We all got up and walked to the back door leading to the gigantic back yard. Jacob took a look outside with a nervous face and bit his lip. He was so scared. Mom said:
“Come on”
“Ok, I’m ready” said Jacob.
Jacob opened the sliding door and took a step outside, the cold breeze and the noise of the same old dog barking every night that I can hear from my bedroom window which got annoying after a couple days. After standing there in shock for about a minute I finally realized it wasn’t so bad. I started slowly walking further in my back yard and eventually started running in freedom. This was my first time going outside since I was about 1 when I was born and had to go home. My life had changed; I liked the outdoors and wasn’t so scared after all. My parents were crying in joy and were the happiest people alive next to me considering this is the best thing I’ve ever done in my whole life.
The next year I went to school in a real school, I joined sports teams and most of all I went outside A LOT more! Thanks to my parents who helped me thru this fear I am a normal boy now. Also I share stuff and now I allow people to go into my room. I’ve made some friends now and we always play outside together. This is my new and improved daily routine:
8:00: Wake up
8:30: Brush teeth
9:00: Eat breakfast
9:30: Wash hands
10:00: Go outside
11:00: Play video games.
12:00: Eat lunch
12:30: Go outside
3:00: Play video games
5:00: Eat dinner
6:00: Go outside
8:00: Go to bed
As you can see my life has changed a lot after I had overcome my fear and also my life has improved great fully because now I can experience more things in the outside world, I’ve made a lot of friends and I have met new people. Now I am a normal boy and my life is better than ever!

If I Were in Charge of The World!
Also if I were incharge of the world I would try to solve the problem of world poverty. To do that I would donate money to organisations that have to do with world poverty and that help with world poverty so that they will support the poor children and adults in the world. Another thing that I would do is I would personaly visit the poor parts of the world to support them with shelter to live in instead of living on the streets, because im positive living under shelter is much better than living on the streets and there are ALOT of children and adults living in poverty and it is a major problem in this world today and that is why I would like to focus on that idea also with the idea of stopping world hunger which is also a major problem in this world.

Adding Emotions to Yor Story
The baseball pitcher thru the old fist pump as he struck out the last batter. He raised his hands in triumph as he jumped in the air. He dropped to is knees and started yelling in happiness . His team started running towards him from the dugout. The whole team picked him up and raised him on their shoudlers. As the crowd went wild and this feeling in my stomach like never before. It was the happiest moment of my life.
The old man jumped and yelled as he heard the smoke alarm go off. He was never frightened as bad before in his life. He has this feeling in his stomach as if his life was going to end. He was petrified of this smoke alarm as he as never heard one before or he as never been in this situation before. He put his hand covered by his sleeve over his mouth to no breathe the smoke or fire in. When he got out he was relieved that this was a false alarm.
The baby yelled at the top of his loungs "Give me my toy back" as he flailed his arms wanting his toy back after his brother took his toy. He ran to the corner and sat there. He crossed his arms as he pouted and frowned. He ignored everyone that came to him to try to cheer him up. He even ignored his brother trying to give back his toy . He finally stoped crying and accepted his toy. Then he went back to playing with his toy car.

Funny Burger King Comercial
I licked my lips, stood up and then dropped to the ground. I slithered over to the guys chair as silent as a mouse. I got up on to his chair unoticed and took one good look at the delicious looking burger and gobbled it down in one bite, it was the most delicious piece of food I have ever tasted. The guy returned from getting his pop and noticed that i had aten his triple whopper. He was very upset and angry at me.
I told him " It's a triple whopper at Burger King, eat like a snake!"

The Crazy K.O.
I got the ring and entered with use of the sturdy metal stairs. I look across the ring and there the guy is standing there looking fierce and ferocious. I've never had butterflies as bad in my whole entire life. The ref called us to the middle, he went oover the rules, we tapped and gloves and the match began!
I started with a spinning side kick but i missed and got back into position. Then i threw a punch and missed once again. My heart was pumping and my adrenilion was flowing. I tried another kick, he caught it and threw a very hard and mean punch but luckely for me he missed, I came back with my most hardest spining head kick of my life. It connected with him right in the side of the head. I looked back and there the guy was laying on the ground knocked out cold. I was amazed with myself, I won the fight.
My trainers came running into the ring to me to celebrate the great victory, maybe the best of my life. After about 5 minutes of celebrating with my trainers the ref brought us out to the middle after the guy was knocked out for about 5 minutes we went to the middle and the ref announced the winner. " And the winner is by knock out is Anthony Tucker!" He raised my arm in the air. After i decided to celebrate and amuse the fans with some break dancing. It may of been the greatest fight of my life but now I need to focuse on my next fight.
